I grew up in the Mojave Desert. Open vistas and the majestic stillness speak to my soul. I recognize the sacred spirits within faces of the rocks. After a full filling career as a nurse and mother I am returning to my passions, the outdoors and photography. My goal is to “shoot the tree within the forest.”
My body, mind and spirit flourish in the wonders of nature. If the sun is up there’s a great chance I’m outdoors- wind in my hair, camera in hand.
Landscapes, skies, animals (and sometimes people) are my inspirations. My goal creating artistic photography is to capture and share the sense of joy and wonder I find in the beauty of nature.
Please enjoy my online gallery but know my work (especially my Faces in the Rock series) show much better as prints hanging in your home or office.
